RENEWABLE ENERGIES / ENERGY ECONOMY

The energy industry encompasses topics such as energy sources and generation, energy storage, transmission, and trading, as well as energy distribution and billing, and energy security.

Due to social demands for greater climate protection and sustainability, renewable energies are expected to account for 80% of the energy supply by 2050, in line with the general trend toward decarbonization, and to be reliable, secure, environmentally friendly, economically efficient, and affordable. The industry is therefore undergoing a process of radical change. In addition to biogas and green hydrogen, the main areas of renewable energy production today are wind power and photovoltaics. In addition to the change in energy sources for production and generation, this also represents a paradigm shift towards much greater decentralization of networks and their intelligent design as smart grids.

The energy industry remains a strong sector with considerable potential for development. However, the shift toward renewable energies is bringing renewed momentum to the energy industry's labor market.

At the Renewable Energies Competence Center, we support companies that deal with all types of renewable energies or topics such as smart grids, energy efficiency, or electromobility, as well as companies from the traditional energy industry, such as energy supply companies (EVU), in selecting suitable specialists and executives.
