To mark the 30th anniversary of HR Consult Group AG, something very special was planned: a celebration in the picturesque lagoon city of Venice. Venice’s historic yet romantic setting provided the perfect backdrop for this special occasion. The festive weekend began as early as 9 May with the arrival of the guests. In the evening, all the participants gathered for a cosy Italian dinner, followed by a relaxed get-together at the hotel bar, where everyone got into the spirit of the days ahead.
10 May was dominated by the conference, which took place in the afternoon. Work was followed by pleasure: all the participants dressed in elegant evening wear and boarded stylish shuttle boats that took them directly from the Lido to Venice. Their destination was the renowned Hotel Monaco, where they moored right on the Grand Canal. There, a champagne reception awaited them, featuring delicious canapés, accompanied by the gentle sounds of the saxophone played by Martin Seiler.
After the reception, the guests made their way into the hotel’s festively decorated ballroom, which left everyone in awe with its magnificent ceiling paintings, imposing columns and a long table adorned with white and blue hydrangeas. The entire evening was accompanied by piano and saxophone music, which created a particularly festive atmosphere.
The exquisite menu and outstanding service also contributed to the success of the evening. A highlight was the speech by Dr Betz, who looked back over the company’s history from its foundation to the present day. Long-serving employees and partners were also honoured for their loyalty and support. The evening drew to a close at the bar, where the guests rounded off the day in convivial company before taking the shuttle boats back to the Lido.
The following morning, 11 May, another highlight was on the programme: a morning tour of Venice. Straight after breakfast, we headed to the famous St Mark’s Square, where two guided tours were on offer – a classic city tour and a special Brunetti tour, inspired by the popular crime novels.
To round off these eventful days, everyone gathered at the Trattoria alla Madonna, where they enjoyed their final hours in Venice over a delicious meal and in excellent company. The perfect weather throughout the weekend rounded off the celebrations and made HR Consult Group AG’s 30th anniversary an unforgettable experience.
This anniversary celebration in Venice was more than just a party – it was a tribute to the company’s achievements and longevity, a thank you to its staff and partners, and a promise of continued success in the future. Those magical days in the city on the lagoon will remain in the memories of everyone involved for a long time to come.
